Welcome to the wiki dedicated to characters and real persons who are princesses, and also to princesshood.
Here a few rules to contributors:
-Princesses are, here, real or fictional female persons who are/were princesses by birth, marriage, or adoption.
-The honorary princesses category is for princesses who are this trough proclamation (self or not), the gain of a throne as a reward, the foundation of a kingdom, or because others call them like this (for another reason than an affectionate nickname). But it's required the person is explicitly called princess in at least one point of her story. Just being a prominent female character is not enough (= called an honorary princess by the contributor) and I'll have to delete the non-princesses characters.
-The characters have to be female.
- I' ll have to ban fanmade characters, as fictional and real life princesses are numerous enough. Fanmade princesses shall be on Idea or fan wikis.
-Refrain as well, from adding anecdotal characters, that are cameos. Prominent princesses are numerous enough.
-The image describing a category shall not be changed without asking. If you think you found an image that fits the category better, ask me first.
-Be extremely careful of the name of an image when you upload it, it can share the name of another one and replace it. It's better to rename images that have a common name (like "maxdefault").
-Fetishists fanarts will not be tolerated in photos. This is not the right place and photos are just here to illustrate the site.
-I' ve just deleted "Non Disney princesses" category. Not all princesses are Disney, in fact most of them are not and the category is useless.
-The toon category is deleted, it's the same thing as "animated princesses".
-And of course, the category "Princesses"! Well, this is the topic of the entire site...That's why the attached pages been deleted-also, because a page with just a photo is too laconic. And with just a phrase and no character sheet are this too.
-"Former princesses" category was deleted as it was redundant with "Fallen princesses". A princess can be destitute but never stripped entirely of her title.
